Our gift certificates (available here: http://www.ellusionist.com/gift-certificate.html) are delivered in the form of a PDF file, attached in an email. The email comes from support@ellusionist.com, and the certificate does not expire.
On the product page you will select the amount, put in the recipient's name and email address, and if you want you can fill in the fields for your name and a personal message. Then add it to the cart and checkout as normal. As soon as the transaction is complete the email will sent to the recipient's email address.
So if you want to print the PDF file out and give it to them that way, or if you want it sent on a different date, you can put your own email address into the "Recipient's Email Address" field and then forward the email to them yourself later.
The email with the attachment should arrive minutes after the order is placed, so if it has not shown up in 24 hours check the SPAM folder. IF it's not there, contact support@ellusionist.com to sort it all out.
